Purpose

LiveStock Music and Arts Festival welcomes dogs to the festival, but we ask that all dog owners follow our guidelines to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests and surrounding animals.

Conditions of Entry

All dogs must be well-behaved and under the control of their owners at all times. Dogs that are aggressive, disruptive, or cause a nuisance to other guests may be asked to leave the festival site.

Farm Biosecurity and Waste Management

LiveStock Music and Arts Festival is located on a working farm, and we must maintain biosecurity measures to ensure the health and safety of the animals on the farm. Therefore, all dog owners are responsible for removing their dog’s waste from the festival site and disposing of it off-site. We ask that dog owners bring their own waste bags and take them with them when they leave the festival.

Leashing

All dogs must be leashed at all times while on the festival site. This includes when entering and leaving the festival, and while inside the festival grounds. For crowd safety reasons, retractable leashes are not permitted.

Water and Shade

We provide water stations throughout the festival site, and we encourage all dog owners to keep their dogs hydrated and provide sufficient shade.

Owner Responsibility

All dog owners are responsible for the behaviour and well-being of their dogs. If a dog causes damage or injury to another person or animal, the owner may be held liable. We reserve the right to ask any dog owner to leave the festival site if their dog is deemed to be a danger or a nuisance.

By following these guidelines, we can create a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests, including those with furry friends. We ask all dog owners to be responsible and respectful of others while enjoying the festival with their dogs, this will enable us to ensure that LiveStock Festival remains dog friendly into the future.
